Our Story

We encourage a thoughtful way of life, where our customers own rare and one of a kind artisan handmade rugs from natural fibres, which are great for modern interior design, good for the environment and transformative for remote weaving communities that we buy from.
We source our rugs mainly from women artisans, who weave our rugs in their homes, in a safe, secure and culturally appropriate environment. A lot of our rugs are made in countries like Afghanistan, a country located at the crossroads of the ancient Silk Road and in the heart of Asia, with a rich history of rug weaving.
The rugs are handwoven in classic designs and incorporate important tribal cultural motifs that have deep cultural, historical and artistic significance. The rugs are dyed using natural colouring extracts from vegetables and fruits. Dried in natural sunlight to perfect the colour and look.
Our rugs are mainly sourced from women artisans, widows and extremely disadvantaged minority communities.
Our rugs are not mass produced in factories using machines or from plastic like some rugs from China and India.
